Home Improvement Gets Musical With Esurance and the Scott Brothers

Leo Burnett Chicago turns home and auto hacks into hilarious music videos in its new “DIY Ditties” campaign.

Drew and Jonathan Scott are known for their ability to turn fixer-uppers to dream homes—not for their performances of early ’90s R&B. Until now, that is.

Esurance has partnered with TV’s favorite home-renovation brothers for a series of music videos, featuring the duo rhyming, rapping and dancing their way through home and auto do-it-yourself hacks.

Created by Leo Burnett Chicago, the videos span musical genres, covering everything from rap to country. They are more than just a fun and entertaining watch; these musical ditties also offer a variety of valuable home and auto tips.

The campaign helps people protect their homes and cars as only the Scott Brothers and Esurance can: with a bit of modern fun. The debut video, “Everything Is Brighter,” demonstrates how toothpaste can be used to clean foggy headlights while the twins hilariously serenade viewers in a set of shiny silver suits. The rest of the series will premiere throughout the year.

The campaign and this first video has been featured in People, Entertainment Tonight and POPSUGAR. Preview the upcoming videos and learn more about the campaign at Esurance.com/ScottBrothers.
